i was in bed and the earthquake wasnt too big... about 4.0 mag.... and it woke me up from sleeping..... around 2am...

I have experienced many little earthquakes and a few around 4.0. I live either right on or very close to a faultline. Most of the little ones I have experienced we don't even notice unless the instruments pick up on them. They happen all the time.

I have lived in Northern VA for ten years - we have had tornados, hurricanes, blizzards, and an earthquake!
The earthquake was 4 or 5 on the Richter scale - not too much damage here. I was sitting in my recliner, reading.

last earthquake i experianced was about 2 or 3 weeks ago. it wasn't that bad. it was probably 4.3 and i was sitting on the floor in my bedroom and i just felt the floor shake and saw the walls sway. i live in a two story house and i was in the lower floor. very scary!

We had an earthquake north of us a few weeks ago. My friend said she felt it, but I didn't. I was probably sleeping or thought it was just a jet.

in bed - it was late and really frightening. i jumped out of sleep and grabbed onto my b/f's hand (thank heavens he was there)
it was so scary - the place trembled for five minutes before it stopped./
