Absolutely! Health Care if a RIGHT, not a privilege. In the greatest country in the World, NO American should have to decide whether or not they can afford to take themselves or their sick child to see a doctor. We need a single payer universal health care system and we need it NOW! If people think the quality of our health care system would decline then let them pay for their own if they want better care. And let's test foreign doctors and as long as they can past an AMA exam, then they can practice medicine in the US. That alone would drive down the cost of medical treatment and save the US citizens BILLIONS of dollars per year.

Currently my medical coverage costs me & my imployer well over 10k a year. How you'd cover that 10k with only 'slightly' higher taxes, when I'll also be paying my share to cover all the currently-uninsured, I can't imagine.
So, I guess I'd feel like I was being lied to by the politicians making the offer. Which is how I always feel when a politician opens his mouth, anyway...

One reason, Germany isn't located next to Mexico. Obama loose well being care plans might grant well being care to all. which consists of non voters and illegals. You saying that if honestly everyone will pay slightly, it does not be that lots. What on the subject of the folk who pay not something in any respect, and how lots is slightly, one greater 20% of your paycheck. Canada could be a physically powerful occasion. i be attentive to folk who come to the United state to have surgery with the aid of fact they must wait months in line. well being midsection and clinics would be overrun by utilising human beings for stupid reason like nostril bleed to the uncomplicated chilly. working individuals are paying greater for well being care with the aid of fact it rather is taken out of your paycheck. Obama plans additionally administration the way docs carry out, and that could void the Hippocratic Oath. in the adventure that your old and you want a clean heart, it could be a waist of time with the aid of fact your going to die quickly in any case. it rather is all approximately government administration. The privet well being care plans could be the acceptable thank you to bypass. only look at wallmart, you may get your drugs much less high priced. Obama says that a lot of human beings in u.s. dose not have scientific well being coverage. nicely a lot of human beings including myself go with to not get scientific coverage. There are to many leeches in u.s., and loose well being care to all, is nice, yet we are able to not help it.

Saddened. Because such a step would be a giant stride towards state control over our lives, and it would be near impossible to reverse it.
It is so fundamentally unconstitutional, so contrary to all the beliefs and ideas this country was founded upon that it would be the death knell for freedom and rights.
Liberty ISN'T defined as being irresponsible children like the Eloi. People who embrace the liberalism of the Constitution do not seek to shirk their own responsibilities and duties, do not believe they are entitled to the fruit of others' labors, do not demand that others pay for their wants.

Poor.
I'd like to save my income tax, to pay for the best medical coverage, and other amenities in life. You would save 30-40% of what you make RIGHT NOW, if Ron Paul was elected, and succeeded. Then you could decide for yourself, how to spend your money.
And if you REALLY insist that I pay for your health care, all I ask, is that you support legislation that follows our current laws. Laws that are supposed to deport all illegals residing in the US, and fining all companies that hire them. Their fines can start the process first.
(PS: I wouldn't actually save any income tax, since I run my own business, but I'm talking about people in general).

I think its sorely needed. I am very strongly in favor of major health care reform that hopefully moves us toward a single payer system.

Mice think the same way when they see that little chunk of cheese on that trap. Look at the whole trap... not just the tasty cheese.

Angry. Government has no place in providing health care. I'm an adult, I don't need government to treat me like a child.
