I used the USPS on line to order my boxes and if you take paypal you can print your own postage from home with free tracking. Then all you have to do is drop it at the post office. If you need packaging materials try freecycle in your area they are located in yahoo groups

you really need to use the post office to get best value unless you are selling really large items that need a courier. There is a company that advertises delivery of ebay items but thats only for bulky stuff and they charge £10 for a big weight. I haven't found anyone yet that deals with your little packages, it's down to the post office every week!!

I usually buy a pack of posting polythene bags on Ebay to wrap the goods in. Then I take them to the post office. I sell on a small scale so I don't know if there are any companies you could use if it were on a large scale.

Depends how much your selling really if its just the odd few bits from around the house the post office is unfoortunately your best bet. But if you are branching out into becoming a business try a courier service such as DHL. They are more expensive but they do save you having to keep going town to the post office

Well I go to the post office once a week but I live right opposite it. I make sure all my auctions end on Sunday & I post on Monday. I bought a load of mailing bags from Ebay when I first started but I recycle packaging wherever possible.

Depends on the size/weights of your products.
Bulky heavy items : Set up a courier account who collect from your home/office
Small Items : Post Office
All my items I sell online are bulky and sometimes heavy, I have a courier account who collect from me daily - which saves loads of time, and I pay a set fee per consignment. All are trackable and a next day service.
For packaging, look around on Ebay, tonnes for sale. Dont buy cheaply - as you pay for it again in the long run.

Depends what you are selling. When I sell clothing I just package using black binbags and parcel tape if its something more fragile I wrap in bubble wrap in a cardboard box. Small items I take to the post office and larger items or valuable items I use parcelforce 48hr delivery service they collect from your door and the recipient has to sign for it

they are a good few that you can pay to pick up from your house, office.
they sell packing to, the larger the amount you buy the better price you get, if your a small time seller it may be better for you to take the items to the sorting or post office yourself or cheaper to pay some one else to do this for you
kind regards x kitti x
ps i use city link
