My voice sounds different on the phone etc. or any other digital thing that records it. One thing that happened to me was that i was playing Xbox Live. I got kicked out of a game lobby; this dude said he didn't like my username and said he didn't like my voice. I always get mistaken for a dude on Xbox Live. People actually think i am pretending to be a girl. It's just so embarrassing, they don't even know what i am at times!

Oh my goodness..I have had that same problem..I play Half life deathmatch and not many girls play that game..I have been kicked off a server because they thought I was imitating the voice of a girl..

It's OK but I'd like to have a huskier and deeper voice. I think it sounds so sexy when women have husky voices. But I'm always so embarrassed to hear any recording of myself. The worst thing is leaving a message on someone's answer phone, that's a source of eternal embarrassment for me.

My voice also sounds very different when recorded. I don't sound like a guy though.... I don't like my voice either because it's just too.... revealing. It's just like my personality (I have a kind of "I don't give a ****" personality), it's mellow, it's calm.... it's boring! I just wish sometimes I could raise my voice to other people... I can't normally do that or I can but it sounds awful.... like a wounded animal or something... very fake....

My voice is like soo low I did get once get mistaken for a dude on the DS i was playing this game where you met people and play games and stuff. I sorta like it its fine i guess

I sound like Im about 12 on the fone! Which can be good when its telemarketers calling! I just say " my mom isnt home" lol. Otherwise my voice is okay.

That would also piss me off, i sound like a dude in the morning..lol.. i have a smokey voice.ive been told... i hate when someone on the other end of the phone says thank you sir..lol

I always think my voice sounds fine, but whenever I hear it played back, it sounds like I've been gargling with rocks or something.
