Being a man among boys means showing a greater degree of maturity than the other boys. Can a 13 year old eighth grader be a man among boys? Certainly. It has nothing to do with chronological age, but rather with maturity, insight and character.

Lesbians are less discriminated against, overall, in the world as it is. The world is basically run by white, straight, old men who are likely from the south, and who also find it hot when they think about two girls making out. Lesbians are more accepted in society. Period.
