...ummm...I'm not in this situation - I'm happily married, it was really just a question :o)

The first one! I experienced this for years. My best friend all through college, never said anything to me until a year into graduate school! I had years and years of terrible dating experiences, while he was in love with me the entire time! When he finally told me, and we began to date, we eventually got married - I don't know what I would be without him if never would have said anything.

I would say the second one because even if a person loves you and never tells you, you can still engage in a relationship together and showing is better than saying to me. I would rather someone show me their love for me than to tell me because anybody can say those 3 three words but without the action and effort behind it, it means nothing.

As far as someone telling me that they love me and knowing that there is no chance that we could ever be together, I think that is worse. Again, in my opinion, if you love someone (truly love someone) then there should be no excuse to not give yourself to that person 100%. Love is love and should not mistaken for anything else. If you’re in love then you should want to be with the one you love and that's it. If you say that you are in love and say but we can't be together all in one sentence, that usually implies that there is an underlying cause that should be able to be justified. Through my experience, I have not yet seen a justifiable reason why two people who are in love can't be together. Relationships require time and work. If you are not willing to work with the person you love then it seems that love is lacking and not being wholeheartedly given. It's kinda hard to explain but I hope you understand a little of what I am trying to say.

Someone not telling you destroys the possibilitiy of ever knowing if there was a way to work things out. I say tell ..maybe they might have been waiting on that news and only took a different road in life because that person didn't think you felt anything. Obviously the person doing the telling isn't happy so maybe the other person isnt happy either.maybe they could be happy together. either way it's closure and you don't have to carry that weight anymore.

ummm not sure!!! theres no easy answer to your queston really? having someone love you but never tell you? depends if you feel the same way or not as it would be nice to know if you do feel the same or make you feel a little?? if you don't and it could spoil a good friendship if you're friends. But as for knowing but you can't be together, well that would be a shame as if you love someone and they love you then I would say go for it, as you only get one life and if your ment to be together it will work out or if its not ment to be it won't.

I can't decide between the two cause,
If they never tell you, you never know, so you don't know what you are missing out on..
Yet it's always nice to know that someone loves you even if you can't be together

Have them tell me, knowing we can't be together. WHat if I don't like the guy. Actually it has happened before so I am used to it.

Having them tell you and knowing you can't be together. Or, having them tell you they love you and finding out that their words were empty.

Both r pretty bad... but i would have to go with: Having someone love you & never tell you...because, I already lived with the second one...
