if u just delete them and not block them they can still se when ur online and message you...yuou just cant see if they r online...and no they cant tell if you have deleted them or not

Delete them from where. You mentioned Hotmail, so I'm assuming you mean your address book in hotmail? Your email addressbook is private.. no one knows if you've put them in there unless you told them. But if you meant MSN Messenger, no one knows if they've been deleted from your Messenger list. But even if you delete them from you list, you are still on their list, so they can still message you.

The information from that contact is deleted. They in turn don't know that you have deleted them. However, they can still see you untill they delete you from there contact list. If you want to avoid this you can create a new username and log in with that one instead.....

If you chose not to block them, yes they can still see when you are online but no they can't see that you have deleted them from your list.
It also removes them from your e-mail contacts list too.

if you don't talk with them anymore with them it would be ok. they don't know you delete them from ur list. as long as they don't delete ur name, they will know u r ol.
