Some of this names might be weird to have nicknames - what are you supposed to call Jewel? Jew? lol jk I guess you could call her Jem (that's my nickname), but unless you call her Jewel Michelle a lot, people won't have any idea where it came from lol. Maybe Jules? Ruby could be called Rue, Emerald's easier and could use Emma or Emmy, and Amber I guess could use Ami. But seriously, how lazy does someone have to be to need nicknames for these names? lol.

In our family it's hard to predict what nicknames will stick. My brother named his daughter Alexandra and planned on calling her Alex; now everyone calls her Allie. My sister named her daughter McKenzie because she wanted to nickname her "Mac"; everyone calls her Kenzie. I think no matter what you plan to call her, people will nickname her what they like. Those are all beautiful names, though. I think any nickname for them will be good.
