It was my least favorite movie of all of them. Poorly written, very cheesy lines. I have to try not to giggle when it comes on TV because of how corny it is.

Batman started off rather well with the Joker.
It started to become camp with the Penguin. The Penguin? Danny Devito?
That trend continued through the next two movies.
It became unwatchable with the addition of Batgirl and Robin.
For some reason, I can not take the Penguin, Mr. Freeze, the Riddler, Poison Ivy, and Two Face seriously. They need someone like Jack Nicholson or Anthony Hopkins as a really bad a** villian.
Batman Begins was a step in the right direction.

I personally felt the performances were horrible, especially that of Bane and Mr. Freeze. There was way too much use of special effects as if it was just a big toy advertisement, and the plot was rather silly and ridiculous. On top of that, I found it offensive that they changed the origins of Batgirl. The lighting was pathetically neon. It tried to hard to update the eighties.
On the plus column though, I did like how there were all these droog (Clockwork Orange) wannabes during the street racing scene.

First of all, George Clooney, who I like as an actor, was HORRIBLE as Batman. With all his head bobbing and arrogance it is hard to be convinced that he is a disturbed individual. Chris O'Donnelles acting managed to get ever worse in this one. The only semi redeeming quality of the movie was Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy, but even that was ruined by bad script. Overall it was poorly directed, poorly written, and cheesy even for a comic book story. Alicia Silverstone was completely unbearable as Bat Girl. The movie wasn't even able to maintain the dark and macabre feeling that a Batman movie is supposed to have. Don't get me started on Arnold either. Pretty much that movie has about every element that makes a bad movie a bad movie.

I dont be attentive to something bout him getting a head injury, as for why he wears the crimson robin gown; he had a kinda falling out with dick as to climate or no longer bruce is alive or ineffective. He wears the crimson robin gown because of the fact its already tainted (by making use of jason todd) and he's likewise crossing lines that robin ought to no longer.

As a huge Batman fan I kind of forced myself to like it. I'll watch it when it's on TV. But it's just super cheesy. Tim Burton's Batman was dark, then when Shumacher took over he made it very childish and over the top. With Batman and Robin it's just poorly written and crazy. I personally didn't mind Clooney as Batman, he certainly could have done it a lot better. I just don't like it becuase of it's cheesiness and corniness. It's very silly. I didn't like Val Kilmer as Batman either, although a lot of people like him. I thought that movie was just as bad too.

I personally don't hate the movie at all. However, friends of mine told me they don't like the movie because they think it's corny. The dressing up in the batsuit and the batcar. They think it's boring to watch. Some people prefer realistic movies as opposed to fictional movies. The movies don't even have to have a real storyline. But whatever it is should be realistic. Or they prefer scary movies.

I didn't like it because it was too cartoonish. I prefer Tim Burton's versions as well as Michael Keaton playing Batman.
