He hasn't left yet! Stranger things have happened in baseball than him resigning. Right now it's all in the hands of the lawyers and agents and we're yet to see where he'll end up. Maybe the Yankees!

Update: See! He is coming back. Best answer! :)

I am happy. I am a Red Sox fan, so anything that makes the Yankees worse, and this certainly did, is good with me.

I mean come on.... they feel Torre (12 playoff runs in 12 years) and A-Rod (no explanation necessary) were their problems!

Without them they wouldn't have won 80 games.

I'm very upset that Arod screwed the Yankees,,,Over the summer he said how happy he was being a yankee! how everything came together for him this yr as a yankee. And it was all a bunch of BS! At first i was very, very angry! Now i don't care anymore. He can go,i don't wanna see anyone in pinstripes who doesn't want to be a yankee,Arod needs help,he is one messed up ball player!Never happy! He'll be going onto his 4th team! And still no ring!

Yes he was really good but he wasn't a team player. He was only with the Yankees for his own personal stats and personal goals. Not a team player.

I'm not. The yankees spend too much money and theres a lot of good teams (like the Blue Jays) who just cant spend with them. I'm glad Hank and Hal steinbruner(sorry for mis-spelling) are more business oriented. Hopefully they lose Rivers and Posada as well =)

I am a red sox fan so it didnt affect me at all, It really doesnt matter where he goes he will always be arrogant. He's a good player just not a team player.

Baseball is big business and things like this happen from time-to-time. So, I am not happy or unhappy with any business decision made by a player.

I would rather him stay, but it doesnt make a difference. THE YANKEES STILL HAVE A POWERFULL LINEUP + they now have 25 million dollars to spend.

Yankees will be better without him. Teams that hes one don't seem to win championships.

I am not a Yankees fan so it did not affect me one way or another. No matter where he is, no matter where he goes, the life of the average American goes on.
