some of my friends seriously think that mexicans are here illegally more than anyone else and i find this to be obsurd. i believe there are many many people from other nations that cross over our borders, everyday, illegally. can any experts please tell me which peoples from other nations enter our borders illegally each day? has there been any studies on this? what are the percentages please?

what about the canadians? they are right next to us. wouldn't far more of them try to get in theis country illegally than mexicans. and lets not say that everyone travels to mexico first to get int the usa through mexico way when they can just as easily travel to canada to do the same. what about europeans? i believe there are a ton of them that manage to get here illegally each day.

It seems that the majority are Mexicans:
"In March of 2006 the Pew Hispanic Center estimated the undocumented population ranged from 11.5 to 12 million individuals[1], a number supported by the US Government Accountability Office (GAO)[2]. Pew estimated that 57% of this population comes from Mexico and about half of them are illegal; 25% from Central America and, to a much lesser extent, South America (which has no road access to the US); 9% from Asia; 6% from Europe, and the remaining 4% from elsewhere.[3]"

I would have to say from EACH country besides the US.

Mexico is just right next to the US.
but I'm not sure about the percentages
before I was born in the US,
my mother had to cross the Mexican border,
risking her life for her children
I can't bear it when people hate on "illegals",
what kind of name is that for a group of people?
I mean we are all illegals here,
only the Native Americans are legal..

all nationalities try to get to mexico and jump the border. Jamaicans, middle easterners, dominicans, chinese, and the list goes on. Mexicans happen to be a large chunk of them though.

yeah there are a lot of Canadians who's visa had expire or came over here without any trouble of trying to be "legal"and that means they are illegal...its not just the Mexican race
