depends on his status at work. and depends on if it's proper for the office to know you like him that well that you feel the need to deliver something to him.
When I was employed (rather than owning my own business) I saw only things like a large chocolate chip cookie and a cake with something nicely written on it. Sure you could have some cheerleader come and sing a song for him, but wouldn't it be better if you all just got together to surprise him with a cake in the coffee room? You all can all pitch in and buy him something inscribed for his desk, or a (nicely worded) trophy (as being the best boss, the best bowler, or something reasonable).

I've sent my husband flowers.....tickets to a basketball game....on a Friday I once sent him a limo to pick him up to meet me at the airport for a ski weekend.

There are a lot of things you can do for a guy....you just have to be creative.

I think that this would really depend on what type of guy you're sending the gift to, the type of work place, and the level of the relationship.

A picnic basket with a bottle of wine, cheese, apples, candles, matches and at the bottom (where no one else can see) a pair of red lace panties. With a note to meet you that night at your place.

A guy would not want any surprises delivered to his place of business. Most find it a tad embarrassing.
