The reason they lost last night is injuries and "not so" special teams play.
The Colts need to get healthy, being an underdog may help them to focus as the playoffs come. Dungy will play the no respect card, and it's true that they get little respect.

The loss you were asking for was not enough last week? You needed more?
Losing like the Colts did is hard to put a good spin on. I know you had injuries (which is never a good excuse in the NFL) but even with that, 5 interceptions (not counting that one at the end) is ridiculous. The Chargers were trying to give that game away and the Colts couldn't even steal it.
I understand the thought that losing helps keep a team in check, but not like that it doesn't.
As usual you have Manning pouting like his mom took away his XBox ... good to see. =)

I was at last night's game (obviously a Charger fan) and after leading 23-0 and clearly dominating the defending Super Bowl Champions, only to let them come back the way they did in the 4th quarter, it was like slowly letting all the air out of a balloon. Nobody left last night with a feeling of satisfaction if that's what you think. We left with mixed feelings of shock, relief, and everybody shaking their heads wondering what the rest of the season holds for our team. As for your Colts........maybe this IS a slap in the face. Almost as big as the slap we gave you two years ago when everybody was talking about your potential undefeated season. That is, until San Diego rolled into town and not only won the game but DOMINATED you. Last night we did the same thing (for 3 out of 4 quarters that is). But despite the loss I think it's probable that will see another Pats/Colts match up in the AFC Championship game. Although I wouldn't bank on a repeat of last year's outcome.

They could have done that without a loser though. They are an injured team right now. Them loosing doesn't help them getting hurt. Manning had 6 interceptions. He is the only one to blame. And Vinniteri missed the winning field goal. I don't see them changing how they throw and kick to make themselves better. But I agree, I hope they can rebound from this and make the playoffs.

Then I want the Patriots to lose 2 games as well. This will still give them home field and they will destroy your Colts in January. That is crazy logic. Losing to the Patriots should have given them all the motivation they needed, no excuse to lose to a team the way they did last night. This will come back to haunt them.
