They're both wonderful singers with great songs. Whitney though, has messed up her life so therefore I'd vote for Celine.

Celine, although she needs a serious fashion makeover. A couple of post-Titanic songs were a little strained, but seems to be back again.
Whitney's only got a couple songs that are all that.
