I don't see why he shouldn't be, every other driver chooses to do the same in either Switzerland or Monaco. When you think that he could easily earn £20 million next year, would you want to pay £8 million in tax to the government.
He will still have some attention in Switzerland, but he bound to have more privacy than living in Britain.
If I was lucky enough to be in his position I would do the same

Hey, If I was lucky enough to have his money, I'd do the same thing, why give any government 40% of your income...actually thats probably the easiest part, having to put up with the brit papparazi is probably worse, they are wicked over there, maybe we can send the brits, B.Spears, L.Lohan, and P.Hilton that should keep them busy....Lewis will not be the last F1 driver to do this, this has been going on along time..

well fair shout to him I say. If i was in his shoes I'd be off too. He won't get so much hassle in Switzerland. he will have a large degree of privacy. don't know what the Brit press are going to do thought, looks like they will have to pick on someone else now eh

NO!!!! He should stay here in the UK and help us pay for all the mooches coming here too! How come he gets to go to a country where he won't get mugged or replaced by someone who can do the job for £4.00 an hour?

Why not? He went there because there's no tax there and it makes sense. He's not the first to make that choice.

Yeah yeah, to him it's "as long as I don't have to give away 40% of my money."
