Me...my dog and cat don't contribute too much of that, but they demand food, water and potty breaks quite regularly.

There is no one in my house hold who is the deciding authority. Sometimes we make decision together and some times we make our own decisions depending on the situation.

It really depends on the matter. Our household is democratic. That means we vote on a lot of things. Events or situations that involve the kids, they vote too. Its more peaceful and if **** gets messed up its harder to argue with 3 or 4 people, so arguments are out of the question.

I let the wife believe all ideas are basically hers, that way she is more likely to go along believing she thought of it. But for major decisions we always consult each other knowing we will both have to live with decision.

Wife for small things -like, kitchen menu, weekly pics, dress , house furniturre etc
My self for big things --bush policy on iraq, nuclear deal wit US, space program of china,etc.
In other aspects i decide with the permission of my wife

As only me and my husband are living together so we try to arrive at a joint decision but in most of the cases its I who decide :-)

Both hubby and I talk things over, usually my input is accepted, however, He has last word, because he is a very logical, responsiable person, who has families best intrest at heart.It is hard to let that go without saying, it is not easy when we disagree and he wins out, what makes it work is me honestly looking at it from his point of view, and he is right everytime.

Everything goes through my mom cause my dad is barely home to inforce anything. Shes not strict or anything but if me and my sister wants to hang out or buy someting we ask her permission and my dad for the dinero!
