If so, where can I get some?

I have a full set (years), two of each pre-decimal shilling- and two-shilling pieces.... but I can't find any 1965 shillings!

Shillings were minted in English and Scottish arms since 1937
1965 9,216,000 Eng 2,016,000 Scot minted
Should be common

Yes, they did. The last year one-shilling coins were minted was 1966. You will have to search coin dealers to find who have any for sale.

Yes, I managed tae get a wee selection of coins in a display case in Blackpool. You can get a set from any year( I got one from 1932) but the wee guy has coins from loads of years!! Don't remember the street name but it was off the beaten track, just down from the New Oxford Hotel, a wee bit along from the breakfast bar!! Good luck...

I think so, I don't remember seeing my first decimal coin until 1968, and as it equates exactly to 5p, I see no reason why should have stopped minting them.

I don't know wher you might get some. Maybe collectors' fairs/markets or online auction sites.
