Hi Spirit - there is a UK version usually in January but they have scrapped it for next year because of all the 'racist 'comments on the last one so here in the UK we will have to wait until 2009!!

Yes there is a celebrity version in the UK,the show is around 3 weeks long and follows the same format, they just get a sort of 'easier' time I think the idea of CBB is good as although normally the people on it aren't as high profile you see what they are really like and a different perspective of them.

I thought the whole purpose of Big Brother was to see "Real" people in an imposed living condition, not celebs.?
Wouldn't that defeat the whole purpose of the show in the first place??

I think that would be very cool. Other countries get celebrity versions of the show and I would love to see some of our "Scripted TV" personalities give the Reality World a chance! Lets see how they act when they don't have a script to read from. Thanks for the info!
