Yeah, ME! I used to never smile- not that I wasn't happy- I just never realized that I didn't until one day I was and someone said "you know, you're very attractive when you smile". I was sooo embarrassed!

I do public speaking and often will single out someone in the audience who is obviously a sullen person. I try to address them directly when I speak and always smile at them.
My goal is a good presentation and to get that person to return my smile before I am done. If I do accomplish that goal I am very pleased. And I will approach that person after the speech if possible and tell them how happy I am that they were present.
I feel that the face is a mirror to the soul and that person needs some extra attention to validate their worth.
It is a joy when I feel that I have made a contact with their heart.

Yes, I think some people believe there is some sort of benefit given/taken for not smiling. Maybe it takes too much effort for some.

I don't smile a whole lot. people say I look mean. I'm not I just don't really smile unless it's really something to smile about.

Yeah, i think its wierd if someone never smiles, because its impossible, you have to enjoy at least 1, second of your life.

If someone never smiles in my presence I would try to take my inventory before taking theirs...maybe seeing you makes them unhappy :)

Yes he's really nice but he has some bad history in his family he was abused by his mom and dad wasn't loved and moved from one foster family to another.

Victoria Beckham rarely smiles. She would be prettier if she did! Smiling is the window to your soul.
