You can't pass gas to a baby, at least, not via natural methods, but, there is an old expression: "You are what you eat." In other words, if you're a vegetarian, then your blood chemistry will be different from someone who eats a broader range of foods (most people are "omnivores", meaning they eat a little bit of everything; "carnivores" eat only meat).
In your case, your (and everybody else's) system contains the result of your body processing any foods that you ate, though, rarely beyond 48 hours or so.
That is why it is so important that mothers-to-be and nursing mom's avoid anything that might be bad for a baby, much less themselves, including, cigarettes, alcohol, and, yes, even hot and spicy foods (you didn't say that your burrito was hot and spicy; I'm just saying).
So, avoid those things, stick to a sensible, ordinary, bland-if-necessary, diet, and baby should get better.
Good luck!

Some breastfed babies are more sensitive than others when it comes to the mother's diet. Typically if your baby is fussy you should think back to what you ate 2 meals ago. Since you ate the bean burritto 2 DAYS ago, it's probably already passed through your system & the baby's. You can try eliminating other foods that could upset the baby's stomach (dairy, etc.). Try holding the baby in different positions to put pressure on their belly to help expell the gas. Use Mylicon gas drops. Burb the baby often during feedings. Feed the baby more upright rather than laying down. Good luck :)

You eating a bean burrito won't make a baby have gas, but gas is the main reason a baby is colicky. Try taking baby cereal and adding it to your breast milk. ( in a bottle of course} Not too much. It must still be very very runny. But adding a little something before the baby goes to sleep, may help.

Also a way to help get the gas out of their stomachs is to give them some medication for the gas, some people give them different things, probably give him Mylicon gas drops... Then get a towel fresh out of the dryer and lay him on that, on his stomach. It will probably take about 15 minutes or so for him to get it out of his system. I've known this to work for a few people. And I've done it on a friends baby.
Good luck

yes, but usually not if you ate it days ago.
when i would eat nachos my son would scream so horrable... then i figgured it out and couldnt eat them for a few months.
you may be eating something else that is bothering the baby , you can try subtracting one thing at a time from your normal diet each day and see if one of the items taken away helps him not cry from gas.
also you can try the MYLICON gas drops for the baby. this really helped my son
