If this is happening all the time. It could be a bad memory module or a conflict with another dll or ocx program trying to compete for the same memory area.

The FFFFFFFFF suggests to me that you are either out of memory or have a bad memory chip.
You could try going into MSCONFIG and removing all the unnecessary programs at start up , that will both free up memory and reduce the change of a conflict.

There are other programs that can be used to surf the internet , netscape for instance.

I am assuming you have run windows update and have the latest fixes ?

I am not a real expert but I understand that error as being some kind of overload, or a double entry... clean your computer good, scan it for register errors and clean the register. I would then remove IE and then reinstall it on a clean computer. Check all your start up items. Put as many on manual as possible. Programs put themselves into your startup that take up memory that are not needed. Use task manager and check what processes are coming on. stop the ones that you are not using. If you do not know, there are web sites that will give you a list of all the processes you need and all the malicious ones and ones you don't need. Somewhere there is a process going on that is causing this error.

Run a scan, most pop- up messages are inert or tracking cookies. I run a windows onecare safety scan once or twice a month, just to be cool. Always keep up on your on -line protection and spy ware, run a scan.

Sounds like typical Microsoft babble. If I were you I would uninstall ie and reload it. You can do this by going to add/remove programs and then add/remove windows components. Then download ie from windows update and reinstall.

It used to do that to me all the time, I just ignored it. Then like a month later my computer just died for some reason, I don't know if it had something to do with that or not
