the cranberries or apples if they wanted to be together or was it forced integration? They may have wanted to be in a different bottle but were forced into this one to be politically correct by the government fruit. It is great if they want to be there, but should they be forced to further the agenda of the producers.

Symbolism.

The government is all powerful and gaining more power by the day. The government decided that certain cranberries would be forced to intermingle with certain apples because it was in the best WELFARE of those fruits. The fruit had no choice but to obey. After all, it was the government who provided the nourishment and life to the apples and cranberries. See, when the government insists on providing certain groups or fruit (or others) with sustenance, it gains not necessarily a loyalty from the fruit, but an obligation.

So if the government helps certain fruits by giving them what they need in order to live, those apples and cranberries feel they must be together for the good of the country. The apples and cranberries are not necessarily upset at this arrangement, since they get fantastic benefits (usually at the expense of the taxpayers). And since welfare is not taxable, the fruits probably don't mind the free ride there either.

While some may be resentful of the establishment, they mostly go with the flow, so their benefits keep coming. And they also vote to keep that government in power that continues to give them handouts.

I can't remember drinking cran-apple juice, but just knowing that they were forced to be together, I just can't support it. Thanks for opening up my eyes!!!

Where I live, the apples, cranberries, kiwi's, watermelons, and grapes co-exist by choice! We make a great fruit punch, and couldn't imagine it any other way!

Here in Canada,we try to support multiculturalism,as opposed to forced blending, and while certainly not perfect,it seems to work fairly well.
