I am looking for the Necroscope series books 1-5 by Brian Lumley. I found some sets on eBay but they're too expensive. Can anyone recommend a place where I can get them cheap?

I need to be able to buy them AS A SET. If I have to buy each one individually, it will be way too much shipping costs.

I know you said no about eBay - are you looking for new copies, then? The link below is to 6 of the books currently going for a bit over $7 with shipping/handling $5.25.

If you need them new, check out one of the major online retailers of books, including someplace like Amazon. They often offer free super saver shipping (order $25.00 or more). It's also possible some of them are eligible for the buy 3 get one free (This item is eligible for our 4-for-3 promotion. This is from Necroscope: The Touch)

You're right - if you use a third party seller, at least on Amazon, shipping would eat it all up, because they have no ability to combine on this site (I sell there - wish they could combine). Some sites do, however, offer combined shipping, even you're purchasing from an individual seller (might check half.com, alibris, etc).

eBay is the true test of market value, what a buyer will pay a seller when neither is forced to buy or sell. You might find used books cheaper at garage sales, but good luck hunting for them. Used book stores and used book websites generally ask more than eBay prices.
