ABC News' Eloise Harper and Rick Klein Report: It's been a rough stretch for Hillary Clinton -- a tough debate performance, a lost voice, and the revelation that the Clinton campaign had been coaching questioners at events.

Then, on Sunday, everything started falling down around her.

After a very Presidential-esque news conference - Clinton turned around to leave the reporters and their peppering questions. A staffer swooped open a curtain, and chaos ensued. Four large American flags came crashing in front of Senator Clinton as she headed for the door. In a controlled panic, the staffers and the Senator attempted to catch the flags before they fell to the ground.

It's explained right in the news release. A staff member came through a curtain and the curtain hit one of the flags, which toppled into others. The bases of the flags were not weighted enough. If this is an ill omen, an even bigger one for the nation was the burning of the White House by the British almost 200 years ago. A definite sign from God that He preferred monarchy to democracy. Right? Wrong!

We find "omens" where we wish to, and make of them what we will. I'm not a Hillary supporter but I'll be damned if my political views are going to be formed by superstition on top of everything else. If our country is going down the tubes, we have but to look in the mirror when pointing fingers. The folks who see in all of this an "ill omen" are some of the same people who use this cherished symbol of our nation on wrapping paper, party napkins and T shirts. All "ill omens" to be sure.

somebody extremely open the curtains and touched the flags making them fall with the dominoe impact. yet Hillary have been given her reasoning by using potential of asserting the bases weren't heavy sufficient for the pole. So the bases which potential the folk and the flag which potential united statesa.. united statesa. will stand tall if its human beings would be sturdy.

Because American flags, like American people, want Ron Paul for president!

She would be a great president with a little help from her husband, especially about health care.
Wouldn't it be ironic if she came back to the white house with a stain on her dress, after a long day at the office of course. Anything is possible!
Without all your mud throwing I think Al Gore would be a great choice for President. Please keep your pathetic remarks about our flag to yourself, you don't have the right to judge. Stay in grade school and learn.. Happy veterans day.

It could be a sign,

A better question is why dosn't Hillary tip waitress? This is not the first time she stiffed the little person as she pulled the same stunt when she ran for the senate.

You got it wrong.
It falls into the dust when you neocon
trolls spill your daily rabies foam over her.
If you weren't here 24/7 spamming instead of doing
something for your country, I'd guess you cut the yarn.

I guess they were so in awe of her brilliant speech that they forgot to weigh down the bases of the poles.

Her demeanor indicates that she expects to be empress. What scares me, however, is that she would not put on that front At All if she didn't think that a lot of people want an empress.
