Well S.C. I am in the middle of finishing up my daughter's wedding stuff and I look forward to the day! After that I feel FREE to take care of me. By that I mean, my son 28, got married in July and was in and out of my house for years, and my daughter , 261/2, who is getting married Sat, has needed me for all kinds of things and now she will be truly on her own. I look forward to serving the Lord way more, some peace and quiet so I can figure out what to do now that the kids are no longer taking up almost all of my healthy time, finish my remodeling and saving for my future. I look forward to an English garden, entertaining good friends, travel when I can afford to down the road, and painting on canvas, having time to read, relax, and not be inundated by drama!! lol!! I love my kids but I have been a single parent now for 28 years (16 years of which I have had chronic illnesses) and I'm tired. I too have bad pain daily which is mad worse by stress and I have had nothing but stress for a year now dealing with my kids about these weddings. It is suppose to be fun but two Wedding in one year is hard on the the emotions and a little on the pocket book too. I am ready to live my life now!! I hope I am like Grandma Moses painting till the end!! ; ) Hang in there Sweet lady...there is more happiness in the future for you...just keep the faith, and worry not for He always provides for what we need. And don't let any toxic people in your life, make you feel sad or hurt...just find some others to keep company with! That is all I can say and I hope that helps! xxxPeapie My prayers are with you.

I take great consolation in knowing that even though my body is earthbound, my spirit soars.
I understand your pain and pray that it will cease.
I've many things to do and many to help before I am called home. Somehow, it keeps me going. However I put that in His hands, not mine.
I'm working on my book. It's almost ready for the editing stages. And, maybe, I'll do another one or two when this one is finally published.
You are quite right, there are sooooooo many things we can do as we age. Pick out what most appeals to you, and do it. It will keep you centered, and we all need that.
But first, before you do anything else, let your spirit soar, as mine does. It brings about a whole new meaning to the word L-I-F-E.
Blessings on you, dear.

Oh! My Dear Friend! I am glad to reppy you.
How positive you are!
Keep one thing in mind - body experiences the aging effect but in case of positive people MIND never feels it!
Our MIND has enormous power. We hardly use it for the betterment of mankind. We always try to use it for our pleasure and hence this power of MIND is mostly wasted.
Therefore one has to be positive and creative to live a happy life.
I think pain is a matter of concern for you. Pl don't worry.
If you get a Acupuncturist pl approach him whenever pain becomes unbearable. Don't be afraid of needles' bites.
Use hot water for bath and warm water to drink.
Sunbath, steambath will help you.
Avoid all cold and sour foods and drinks.
Avoid bakery foods. Use warm cooked food.
God will certainly take care.
Best Luck.

When the catalog comes or online read the diseases and infirmities that you can heal yourself. Do this immediately. I will not steer you wrong. I have been using these products for years. By Christmas you will feel and look like a new improved you.

Probably not the best outlook, but I take each day as it comes. I empathize with you about your pain. I had a headache the past two days, and yesterday's was particularly sharp. Today, I woke and it had vanished. HURRAH!
I plan to read all the books I have that I've not read, I plan to finish that damn afghan I started when I got all my mom's yarns after she died, I plan to sort through and toss bunches of stuff, and sometime this week I have to take a load of trash to the dump.
Other than that, I have no plans for the future.

I am so sorry you are in pain, I am having a bad day too. I am resisting taking drugs in case I need to drive somewhere.
Take a day to pamper yourself, long hot bubble bath, can you afford a massage? Some things are worth it if we can afford it because they are so good for our mental, emotional and physical well being. Women tend to look on them as an "indulgence" while men have no problem feeling they deserve things like a good massage and a day off to pamper themselves and do nothing.
I will pray for God to release you from the pain. Hang in there, tomorrow should be better I hope, (and pray)

I love to write and being on here has really gotten that urge going again. My dream would be to have something published one day and I just might. LOL I'd like to take more classes too, maybe even dance lessons.
My husband & I grew a little garden this summer & we've started a compost pile for next yr. We also want to make some changes to our house, to make it more comfy for us.
I'm sorry you're in pain, S.C. feel better soon!

I love seeing the world through the eyes of my grandchildren. It brings me back to my own childish dreams and fantasies. I can get down to their level and just be a kid again. What a relief! I too have many aches and pains but my interest in life hasn't changed. Only our bodies are old, not our spirits. Each new day is an adventure! God Bless you.
