HP Deskjet 940C - Won't recongize new ink cartridge?

Question

Printer showed color cartridge out, got cartridge refilled. Still shows color cartridge out of ink. Have turned off/on printer and rebooted computer. Still shows color cartridge out of ink. I know its full.

Hi. I think you will have to reset the chip built in to the cartridge. You need a special device to do this but maybe a local computer repair shop may help you.
