My mom's cooking is pretty good, but my grandma's was the best! I really miss her fried chicken.

My mom died a number of years ago. She was an ok cook...you know how it is when you are a kid...same old same old. However with the holidays approaching this is the time of year I miss my mom's turkey dinner, and her baking. She made the flakiest pastry and shortbread that would melt in your mouth. I have lots of friends, and even my sisters that bake but nothing quite compares to the goodies my mom used to make. So all of you who are fortunate enough to have your moms with you....go give her a hug.

Yeah when I want low fat healthy food. But my dad can make some really good food and desserts, he went to cooking school for a while.
