Gay has pretty much been inflated much like 'N' word.
I know a number of Gay men actually that sometimes blurt out something along the lines of, "Thats gay" so, its really up to everyones own opinion.
I personally think the word Gay though cannot pertain to only homosexuals; as it had another meaning before that.
the N word on the other hand, is nothing short of ridiculous and highly offensive, yet I never fail to see/hear a number of kids using it more often than "its" and "the" in t heir vocabulary..
but I am from the ghetto, so lucky me.

Ummm... No, us LGBTers don't "own" the word "gay", nor have we applied for a copyright for it (yet). Nor did we start the pathetically immature trend of calling practically everyone and everything we don't like around us "gay". I'm not even sure how the term "gay" came to mean "homosexual" in the first place.
Edit: LMAO, Jake! That is too funny!!!

To me when I hear the word "homophobic" or "homophobia" its just a copout that gays throw back on heterosexuals in an attempt to lash back.
For me, I've always liked or disliked something. Had nothing to do with phobicism.
These folks can tell me what I like and dislike, that is their choice.
Being gay is not a choice. Its immoral.
hehehe.

GAY⢠has now been officially trademarked by United Feature Syndicate.... and it's sister corporations... that's why we pay dividends quarterly to keep our status... someone has to pay for the advertising and publicity that we get... as well as buying off republicans to further our agenda... I could offer you a free trial if you'd like... and with a two year commitment you get a toaster oven... yours to keep just for trying...:P
