They are NOT street legal anywhere.
They are toys to play with in parking lots and dead end streets.
If you get pulled over, it will be towed away.
If the officer is in a good mood, he might get a good laugh and tell you to push it home.

You might want to think about getting a moped instead. Pocket bikes are usually deemed illegal on roads and meant for "private lots only" as they say in Jersey. Mopeds are meant for the road; there about the same price, all can travel farther then thanks to a larger gas tank, you can get parts / performance for them (most models. Check with the Moped Army to see what you can find) and are legal so you can take them on roads without getting pulled over. Also not all cops know all the rules. Some may think you can ride a pocket bike on the sidewalk giving you a false sense of security and then when another cop sees you wham ticket. Also remember cops can bully kids around. They tend to like that.

As has been answered a million times,

POCKET BIKES ARE NOT STREET LEGAL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, PERIOD.

Thought I would get that out of the way first, now for the bad news. You will lose the ability to get a license depending on what state you are in as to how long. Most cops confiscate, so I highly recommend a moped, they are street legal, and go a decent speed.

The great pocket motorcycles could be highway criminal if there is turn indicators, headlights and different stuff. To make it highway criminal the headlights must be a definite fill up the floor. and you should placed on a helmet and be a minimum of 15 to get a moped liscense. In michigan in case you have all that stuff and it below 50cc then it ought to in all probability be highway criminal. I nevertheless might'nt advise using on the line because of the fact it may be very risky given which you cant see them very nicely. i might advise a moped if something because of the fact there greater and there somewhat much less confusing to confirm.

yeah.... I don't think those are street legal, and you def. can't take them on the sidewalks. I wouldn't know about licensing and stuff. But I would think if you actually use one to get around you will probably get busted, and they will give you an unsafe vehicle ticket or a unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, which will put points on your lisence. Y would you do this in the first place?
