From low E to High,
Low E, A, D, G, B, hight E.
But if you go to a music store and you say the *th string is broken they will be able to help you.

Also important is knowing what kind of strings you use.
Do you use an Electric guitar, or an accoustic one, and are all the strings metal or do you have nylon strings too.

The speciallists also know the strings by numbers, a different number for different wire thickness, even for the same note.

If you get lost, take your whole guitar to the store.
They will show you how to replace the string too.

i never had a guitar but some of my kids have and as i recalled i thought all six strings came in one pack. the strings as i recalled are of various thickness and so that's where the various sounds come from. it's probably best to buy them that way so if another string breaks you'll have a spare handy.
don't know if that helps or not.
good luck
