There really isn't any correlation between flaccid and erect penis lengths. Large flaccid penises generally do not increase very much in size once erect, but small flaccid penises can more than double in size once erect. Gotta add my 2cents worth here.. The womans vagina is only 3-4 inches long, and any penis longet then that is causing the vagina to strech to acomidate it, which is how a vagina is designed to do. Only 1-2 inches of the vagina has nerv endings, so that is all she will feel anyway. Width is more important to stimulation for the woman, however to wide can be bad too.
So, as long as yours is somewhere in the average range. IT IS OPTIMUM.

just wanna add something here ..
like women breasts .. some women have breast augmentation
so do men but for their penis .. most of those we see on adult videos have their penis done too and looking so loooong, thick and strooong when they're actually fake and plastic just like fake breasts

A lot of men are definitely wrapped in in their penises...which doesn't say much for them, but I also think some men get a bit of a thrill talking about their penis on a public forum, such as this, hoping to "sexualize" the situation knowing that women will be reading. It's really kind of silly in th end and truly does separate the boys from the men. It also probably tells a bit about these men's maturity, and there obvious sexual insecurities within themselves.
