YES....I love it for the most part.....I have a quite a few people on here that IM with when we're not on P&S.....It lets us connect on a moe personal level....But occasionally when I'm doing something important they keep trying to connect instead of respecting the fact that I've got the " I'm busy "...icon up for a reason....

yes you can also do it with live mail from explorer.
but i use flock now .the explorer was full of problems
