Yes, I believe we are headed for another recession. With money hard to come by, how will people feed and take care of themselves? That's the reason I have taken steps to ensure that my family will have food, water, etc.

Our country right now is in debt to China for Billions!!! Our government needs to stop their spending, bring our boys home from Iraq, use some of their money to rebuild their own country instead of ours!

I think we are "due" for another recession. maybe not a major bump but something similiar to 2001-2003. How do we pay for the hidden deficits caised by the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq. the only thing that will save the economy is an honest and hard look at the tax system. The 2001 tax sytem helps the upper echelons who already have disposable income but really doesn't help the lower and middle middle income people. Finally, the gopvernment can't continue to bail out banks for their mistakes...we did it once with the savings and loan debacle now they are taling about it for the mortgage debacle.

The way things are today, I don't see any way out of it. Our Dollar used to be higher than a lot of other countries....but today, even the Canadian $ is worth more than our $. All the big companies have moved over seas, because of cheaper labor but look what it cost them. It's just a matter of time at this point. It has already started in a way, next will be the trickle down affect, time to wake up people...take a look at what's happening all around you!

Honey, we are surprisingly plenty each and each of ways there. Pundits use the notice "recession" so as to no longer panic the well-known public. by using the tip of this year, except some miracle happens, issues must be terrible. persons are dropping their homes in record numbers (no longer that i think for them, they have been given their very own grasping, spoiled selves into this by using putting off loans that have been impossible to pay back and that they'd desire to have elementary that--) authentic now food fee is becoming daily, gas is only laughable, and no person is procuring everywhere through fact they won't be able to pay their mortgages no longer to show complication approximately no rely if junior has a clean cranium shirt. or perhaps the stupid greater beneficial tax rebate/refund won't even help one kinfolk through fact it truly is $600 no longer even 0.5 of folk'S loan!! they'd't even make a house charge with that pittance. All they could be waiting to do with it somewhat is make a mastercard charge (returned, their very own fault) in the event that they have been waiting to consolidate their costs. If no longer that, possibly they'd desire to purchase food or gas and pass out right into a low-hire house or residing affiliation. companies are nonetheless laying off human beings by using the tens of tens of millions and no artwork sector is secure and guard from now on. If we make it to 2009, possibly, possibly we can pull ourselves out of this.

yes we are headed that way but more will die than they did in the 30's Americans are spoiled in the 30's people had to ration items like gas, shoes, food and etc. how many of you could live with just 1 pair of shoes limit gas and have to learn how to walk 2 or more miles to get to places to be able to limit your food to buy only a certain amount a month that's what they had to do if our government would limit its spending and make all these immigrants pay taxes like the rest of us and stop giving the rich tax breaks and these millionaire churches tax breaks and yes these ministers drive around in limos and rolls Royce's everyone can benefit and perhaps avoid this as far as gas if everyone would boycott and stop driving for pleasure start walking prices would go down as long as people buy prices will go up

I do not see the United States economic growth declining, we just keep making more and more and buying more and more, even as prices are rising. I think the people need to make some changes for ourselves; we need to slow down and stop trying to beat the Joneses, right now I think that is the only way that we are going to avoid a depression.

They are already in a recession. Most Americans can't make their mortgage payments, pay their credit cards or their medical bills. The dominoes effect just hasn't been so obvious yet because these money problems are very recent.

When gas hits 5.00 gal and it takes $80.00 to put gas in your tank. Your taxes will jump to 2 times what we pay now to cover the heath care of the poor. The home mortgage sells and gross balloon will pop. Yes we are going there fast
