I am a Conservative (not fake) what ever that means. I am still waiting for the shining. We have a year yet to see who can promise us what we want to hear. Hillary has already done a lot of promising then took it back. She needs to think before answering. Gee maybe that is why she brushes off the question. I really have the faith that someone running will be able to decrease the size of government. Fred Thompson wants the federal part to be smaller and allow the states to decide on most issues. Just keep watching!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not think that Guliani is a Conservative although he has Conservative leanings in some key areas like national security. I think Duncan Hunter is not a Conservative, nor is McCain. I don't think Ron Paul is a serious candidate. I think Mitt Romney is a Conservative so I think he would at least strive to control the size, scope and cost of government.
I like Romeny, Huckabee and Tancredo. I am a bit less impressed with Thompson.

I'm a real conservative when it comes to making my own decisions, and a real liberal when it comes to deciding whether or not the government should make decisions for other people based on faith.
But the only way I see the people mentioned, reducing the size of our government, is by reducing what benefits Americans so it can be spent on what benefits other countries.
I guess in a sick sort of way, that can be construed to mean, reducing the government.

I agree total heartedly with Ron Paul's theory that the U. S. ought to withdraw from something of the international and isolate. i'm an isolationist. the challenge is, his competition that it really is the purely constitutional element to do is unsuitable. he receives no position jumping up an down complaining that each and each and every human being contained in the congress, which includes himself, is a criminal in violation of the structure. the purely way Ron Paul ought to get something accomplished is that if he were to change into our monarch. Congress ought to not in any respect cooperate with him. now unlikely to take position. i'm able to set emotion aside and comprehend his competition that American overseas coverage has compromised our ability to learn in commerce and has in tremendous section facilitated terrorist recruitment. He refuses to articulate, notwithstanding, it extremely is changed into inadvertent. He has purely made it extra difficult for individuals like me who can make experience of an incremental flow in direction of a few style of isolation with border administration, a sensible immigration coverage, a commerce coverage it extremely is extra complicit with regulations combating exchanges with sponsored agencies and a protection force coverage that demands extra participation from allies. He thinks it will be accomplished appreciably and over nighttime. real conservatives do not do radical change. till he realizes that, he has no shot. Ron Paul is a gynecologist no longer a constitutional student.

There's a reason why the largest government bureacracy office building in the world is named after Ronald Reagan and located in D.C.

No. I'm a real Conservative who supports a real candidate that has a real chance of winning like:
Mike Huckabee - currently 2nd place in Iowa polls.
Where is Ron Paul?
