Last year I was 5'3 and I dunno about this year im still the same. Am I short because some little kid asked me if I was 16 and I told him yes and he said I was short....lol...
What can I do to get taller, and what height am I really supposed to be for my age?

Don't worry yourself about this. I'm 27 and I'm only 5'1 and very small and petite. I look like I'm about 15 years old everyone says. Girls don't stop growing until their 18. Even if you don't get any taller your height would still be fine. Your a perfect height for your age. And, there is no way to make yourself taller. It's all in your gene pool in how tall you will be.

No..you are a GIRL. girls are usually not that tall. 5'3" is not particulary short, and I a lot of guys actually like it. there are plenty of grown women shorter than you. And I do doubt that you will grow much more. You are just about your adult size now so you need to become comfortable with it. As far as what is it supposed to be? Everyone is different there is no right or wrong height...all I can tell you is that you are normal, and don't worry about it.

well everyone has a destined height when they are born, so there isnt really any tall or short for your age, but you are short for an average 16 year old, but dont worry about it

height is mostly genetic....I'm 21 and 5'2", I will not get any taller. All the women in my family (on my mom's side) are between 4'11" and 5'4" so I know I was screwed from birth on the height thing.

Lol i'm 14 5'9" and fairly skinny too. I basically placed on any short shorts, they make your legs look HELLA lengthy. so that you'll be able to placed on any form you want. in case you should make your butt look more suitable get some with like wallet or embroidery or rhinestones on the again. believe me , your legs received't look like sticks.

Okay maybe it's your genes.... because I'm 13 and I'm 5'5 and people have called me short but I have bad genes.... but hey everyone's unique right? And what I do to try to get taller and like really stretch myself by reaching upwards, and I drink alot of milk.

No i don't think your short for your age because i'm 15 and im "5'1/2" and my friend is 16 about to be 17 and shes only "4'11"

Im only 5 ft 1 on my tiptoes!!!!!! lol I would say 5 ft 3 is a great height for a girl! Men love the little teeny tiny girls like us! I think it makes them feel more proective over us!

Maybe by national standards 5'3" is short but it seems fine to me. That's what I was at that age. i grew to 5'4". Woo hoo! I am 60 now.
