One of my close friends is in love with the name Lucas an plans to name one of her children Lucas. I like it Lucas - its a handsome, classic name that is becoming less popular but not losing its touch!! I also love the nickname, Luke.

I used to LOVE this name until I heard a kid getting teased. his name was Lucas and he was called Lucas the Mucus. that was so wrong. I know most names can be made fun but to be called mucus is really bad.

I love that name, although it reminds of the movie "Lucas" and in that movie the kid was a little dorky. It's still a cute name though

I REALLY like the name Luke (I'm considering naming one of my children that someday). I'm not sure about Lucas, it would have to grow on me.

I told my sister to name her next baby Lucas she says she like it but it is so popular. I say who cares. I like it. We already have to boy names picked out so I m stuck now for the next to boys.

I love that name. my friends name is that also. and it matches his personality perfectly. the lucas i know is braziilian.
