Re-examine your relationship. Having an "urge" isn't so bad (I have about 6 an hour) but if you start seriously wondering how to make it happen, then you need to decide which is more important - your urge or your relationship. If you are having problems with your relationship, then an old ex may seem tempting especially if you are forgetting why you broke up in the first place, but you owe it to your current beau to be honest. If you really want to be with the ex, then leave your current relationship. If you want to stay with your current relationship, then you may need to get some counseling to determine what is wrong. Look around, there are many counseling centers that offer low-cost counseling for people in need. But sabotaging your current relationship by cheating is a rather childish way to force the situation. Be a grown-up, decide what you want, and do what it takes to make it happen.

Intense urges all the time...

I call myself undiagnosed obsessive/compulsive.

But I use my powers for good! I'm an artist, and I try to direct those impulses into whatever creative project(s) I am working on - or rather - my creative project(s) drag me along and I use the OCD to run as fast as I can to try and keep up without skinning my knees...better than drugs or therapy and I have a fabulous fun creative and funktional home and extra income from the stuff I decide to sell!

I have an intense urge to fall asleep. I've had this headache all day. Sunlight makes it worse. My boss makes it worse. Standing up and moving around makes it worse. Only a pillow will make it feel better. :(

To veg out today, alas, this wont happen. As of today, I am still not a lottery winner and so I must toil for a living. Sigh woe is me, woe is me.
