Particularly where foreign policy is concerned, Paul seems to have an affinity for Islamic Radicals.
(By virtue of minimizing the threat they pose.)

I hadn't previously made this connection, but now that you mention it, there is that same shiny look in their eyes.

Ron Paul is the only candidate who's not swayed by bully labels and cowardly accusations. He's not a sycaphant politcian who changes his belief system based on the latest polls. There's a reson this man has more money pouring in from active and retired military than ANY other candidate. You'd think the republican party would be thrilled to have someone who Ronald Reagan called "his favorite politician". This was not because Ron Paul is just like Ronald Reagan, but because Ron Paul is the best of the republican party ideology. He's a true conservative and really the only candidate who can reverse some of the damage we've endured as well as caused.
His foreign policy is simple. We mind our business, you mind yours, but while we're staying out of each other's hair, let's have trade, civil talks, global unity, sharing of cultures and peace. Not real complicated, yet very novel and refreshing.
The more I listen to Hitlery Clinton and Rudy the Bozo, the more sense Ron Paul makes. In order for us as a nation to avoid a national backlash, by voting for Hitlery, albeit reluctantly, we need an honest, dignified conservative. Otherwise we're going to see a huge pendullum swing WAY to the left. This country can't afford Hitlery right now.

Ron Paul and Jimmy Carter's political positions are 180 degrees apart in every other category.

Did Jimmy want to get rid of the IRS or the Dept. of Education?

Also, neocons like Rudy and Mitt always overstate the threat that islamic radicals pose. Especailly considering that statistics show that Americans are far more likely to die from car accidents, lightning strikes or bee stings than from terrorist attacks.

At least Ron Paul cares enough about the U.S. Military to suggest ways to get them out of the mess they are in over there.

Are you aware that over 70 percent of Americans want to see a big change in our Iraq policy and want the troops to come home? These are Democrats, Republicans, Independents and others - across party lines.

The message is clear - terrorism is a threat, but making war on Iraq was an uneccesary and costly diversion.

No, but I do get the feeling that the repubs are really dazed and confused by the actuality of someone in their party who has his own opinions, does not just reflect what fellow repub politicians are saying. Someone who really does believe in fiscal conservatism. Someone who really does believe that government should promote the general welfare and preserve the common good. Doesn't it feel odd to be faced with someone who is practicing what you preach, but you don't like it one little bit??

Why? Because he's sick of seeing OUR children die in Iraq while the cowards that live there cower in thier huts and do NOTHING to help fight the extremists...

Maybe making the dollar worth something again is more worthy of time and attention than fighting other people's fights for them. Particularly when they've never done anything for us.

If you misconstrue everything he says, because you buy the official government version of everything, I can see you making that connection.
