you have to be one sick person to think that the government is in any way involved with scum like the Fred Phelps gang.

In case you were thinking Fred Phelps and his inbred clan of lawyers is tied in any way to the republicans then I would like to point out Phelps is a life long democrat, a former ACLU lawyer and offered his support to Gores election campaign before Gore said he would back Gay rights.

I know that some people (particularly the Ron Paul nuts) love to think there is some kind of grand conspiracy going on. But there is not. So unless you can prove that Intel operatives are working in conjunction with the hate mongers protesting military funerals then all you are doing is trying to stir hate for our government based on your personal fears and prejudices, not on fact and truth.

An open season should be declared on anyone disturbing funerals. those rifle salutes should be fired horizontally in these cases.
What i find odd, is the people who are doing this, are followers of cult leaders claiming to be preachers, and hate gay rights, abortion, science, and anyone who doesn't follow the word of God to the letter, but are being labeled as liberal by other right-wing fanatics.
