I paid £15.90 to see the emergency NHS dentist.

I was examined for less than 30 seconds, and told i needed to see my dentist on monday.

I told her i was in agony, and the over the counter ibuprofen i was taking was not helping.

She told me to just take more of it. I explained i was already taking the maximum dose. She said the pain will subside.

I was in agony, had been for 3 days, had not slept since the pain arrived and felt like crying. She was not sympathetic, or kind, and didnt listen to a thing i had said.

NO...my husband had a heart attack so i called 911 the ambulance arrived and hooked him up to the machine and said sure enough he was having a heart attack and took him to the er on route they had to give him 2 nitro pills for him to respond well
when we got to the er the doc jabbed him in the arm pit and asked if it hurt when my husband said yes he was handed a script for pain pills and released with no further test or treatment
the doc just thought he was a pill seeker i guess
so we went home upset and made an appointment with a doc but later that day he had another heart attack

Yes, I was in the hospital for pneumonia. The care was very good. I saw my doctor daily and he usually stayed 30 minutes and made sure I was fully informed. The nursing staff (even the students) were professional and treated me well.
