Just curious. I've often wondered about my husband and I, we don't share the same interests, we don't have the same values.. we often fight, and I am just wondering if it would be the same in any other relationship.. like there will always be something, or if there is someone out there that is better for me. Regardless of our differences, we know each other very well, which to me is worth sticking around for.
But I'm wondering what everyone elses opinions are. Just curious.

Your best match is the one you give the chance to become the "one." It's impossible to not have arguments, and yet still love those people after the fact. You fight with your siblings, yet you still love them, you fight with your friends yet you still love them. If things were perfect then there is no challenge which allows you to grow and become better. Your SOULMATE, PERFECT MATCH, BETTER HALF, whatever you want to call them, is the one who accepts you no matter what... and still love each other in the end.

EVERYONE has problems. We are all different people and there is no perfect relationship. It takes time, and effort to make AND keep a relationship. Love is the glue that holds it together. A relationship is give and take, but not the same person always giving and the other taking. It has to go both ways....but then if it doesn't then there is no effort being put forth from one of the parties.

There's no such thing as a perfect relationship. All couples fight eventually, whether it be about something minor or major. What makes a good couple is how they deal with it together when challenges crop up.

There are always issues with in a relationship it is how both of you deal with those issues that matters. DH and I have differences and issues but we agree where it counts! You need to figure out what is most important to you.

Loyalty
Friendship
Family
Trust
Honesty
Money
Discipline
Love

Does he excel where it counts?
