"if u r giving birth to twins, and one is born at 11:59pm and the other born on 12:01am (the next day), are they still considered twins?"

Twins are not determined by the date of birth but is defined by the fact that they were conceived at the same time and shared a mothers womb. I have a friend that had a very long and difficult delivery and she delivered one twin one day and the other the next afternoon. They are still twins, they look exactly the same, but they are able to have their own birthday.

Yes, they would just have different birthdays.

Twins aren't characterized as having the same birthday, but as being in the womb at the same time, either being identical (when a fertilized egg divides) or fraternal (when that extra sperm fertilizes a separate egg), so even if they are born on different days they're still twins.

Of course. They are twins genetically, it has nothing to do with the timing.

Tell your friend not to be so dumb. Of course they are still twins. They simply have their own birthdays.
