Don't expect to be given your parents trust blindly. Earn it by your actions and your deeds. Go into the world behaving better than they expect and above all talk to mom and dad...they care more than anyone else in the world will.

Au contraire, uninformed one! First, vegetarians are WAY more healthy than meat eaters. Red meat especially is bad for you, and if eaten too much can cause colon cancer among other diseases. The meat that is being produced by today's corporate farms is especially unhealthy, filled with antibiotics, and coming from animals that are raised in an unhealthy environment. Also, a vegetarian diet takes less land to produce than a meat diet. As for your rant about using less paper, gasoline, etc., maybe you should try doing something that helps the world around you instead of only thinking about your immediate gains. Some people aren't so self-centered, you know?

Apply the Golden Rule to every aspect of life.
Love yourself
with kind, gentle acceptance so you may
Love your fellow man
with the same kind, gentle acceptance.
Above all love the lord your God with your whole heart, mind
and spirit. Makes everything else just fall into place.

Please always listen to your parents . . . they may not seem cool but they have been where you are and have prolly learned lots of lessons along the way. They only tell you things so you won't get hurt or so you'll grow into a better and stronger person.

Don't wait untill you're 29 before you realize your parents aren't as dumb as you think like I did.
On a lot of things they know what they are talking about.

i know they will definitely not listen to this one.
i would tell them to don't grow up. been an adult is hard enough and very stressful, you pay bills and have to work.
so my advice, stay as little as you can.
now i know they will go ahead and grow up because curious minds wonder....

Brush your teeth three times a day, and dont forget to floss.
