Weigh the object. Then dehydrate it and weigh it again.

Can you ask your teacher about using a balance at the school to weigh the fruits accurately. You will have to weigh the fruits before and after drying to find the percentage of water. Maybe you could arrange to use a balance during a study hall or after school.
