Do you decorate for every holiday that you can possibly decorations for?
I can't help it. I was deprived as kid because we were poor. So to get into the spirit of the holiday with my kids, I decorate for most of them, atleast the ones I can find decorations for, even Valentine's Day..
Too, it's different, its fun and the kids just love it!!!!

As long as my children were in the home (and they are now adults and living on their own) ... I would decorate for the Holidays around the house ... (and I am a Long Term Single Parent, so you know that I was doing this instead of sleeping!) ... because the Kids really ENJOYED the THRILL of seeing the Decorations up when they got up to go to school or activities in the Morning!

Now that I'm an Empty-Nesting Retiree ... I am toning down the decorations -- and, basically ... am only decorating for Christmas with any effort ... otherwise, with it just being me, I don't feel the need.

I also decorate for most of the holidays- my kids LOVE it. I have a small table top white tree that I change out for Easter, Valentines, Fourth of July.. A black one for Halloween, and then the real deal big one for Christmas... It may sound tacky, but it truly isn't -it is very cute.. We also do a bunch of other stuff around the house for Halloween and especially for Christmas. My family all lives on the opposite coast and I grew up with a mom who really loves holidays... I want my own kids to have the same kind of great warm memories at home with me.. And to those that are anti decor YES I do teach my kids the real meaning behind the holidays- it's not at all superficial here!!

I decorate for Halloween and Christmas. Halloween is just plain fun, and Christmas isn't Christmas without all the trees, lights, ornaments, etc. I might tend to go a little overboard for Christmas!

Beyond that, I don't decorate for holidays, just switch up the decor a bit with the seasons. You won't see any shamrocks or Easter Bunnies here!

It's always fun when the kids are young, so enjoy it.

Nope. We live out in the country where nobody is going to see out decorations so we stick with putting up a tree and decorating it at Christmas.

We are thinking about doing something for Halloween next year and inviting the family kids out and such, though.

That's sweet. We don't really decorate too much, although the holiday spirit is still undeniable in our household. However, I hope you create many memories and traditions in your home with your kids! Good luck.

Well I enjoy putting up some nice decorations like some lanterns and bats for Halloween but I don't like to over do it.
