Personally, if I ever found out that I was being video taped at work, I'd complain to the boss about it. There is no reason for a boss to install a camera and watch employees in their own private offices. An employee should expect privacy even when at work. Your boss obviously has no respect for his employees.

its not illegal. Its a place of business, and in your desk area you don't have privacy. Now, if they put one in the men's room, thats completely different.
Most employers, especially those that deal with money, put cameras all over the place to watch for theft. They can track all of your internet traffic, email, voice mail, etc. You are at work not at home.

It's not your office. The exception would be if you had a shower or something in there; or if there was the reasonable expectation that you may change your clothes or something if, say, you rode your bike to work for example. Beyond that, you'd have to ask an attorney. Get a good enough attorney, and the law is whatever he says it is.

depends on the laws, but i would say no. You are in a business and they can moniter there employees to prevent theft or other crimes. Unless your changing in the office or something else, I don't think its illegal. But you might want to check with a lawyer or look up the lawn on that.

Not illegal. You have no "expectation of privacy" in your employer provided office space.

Remember that the office actually belongs to the company. They can also monitor your phone calls, email and web surfing as long as you're using their equipment.
