I fell in love when I was 16 and it lasted for good 5 years....I could not see anything beyond him, his smile and look were like best things that could ever happen to me. I used to be lost for words, could not say NO to him, agreed in everything as everything coming out of his mouth seemed just perfect! But was it really? he had the total control over me whereas I couldn't progress, move forward as was absolutely blinded...One day I woke up and all his charm was gone and for the first time in my life I was so happy and in control of my life. Now I do not need to pick up the phone when he calls me, his smile irritates me...and it feels so good just as my freedom does. Love is great but everything has to have its boundaries.

yes. both of us have our sense of control of our situations and neither of us is dominant. we choose to not tell each other the "love" term because our emotions would be put in roller coaster rides. we are happy with each other. besides we're both getting over our past relationships and neither of us want anything serious right away. even though it has been at least three years for the both of us. we enjoy our friendship and our interests and any fun times that we share together.

If they have way too much control you may be in love with them but they are not equally in love with you. Yes I have my first wife and that was a disaster. It is not love it's a sentence. I was totally in love with her but never felt that she could stop controlling me long enough for me to feel her love me back.

i feel like that now - i never thought i would ever fall in love.
i always said i would never let anyone that far "IN" so that i wouldnt get hurt.
i never thought id ever be scared of losing someone - never thought i could let someone so far into my life and know everything about me.
but i did. and yeah - im scared of losing her.
it would break my heart.
control!?! - id do anything for her!!!
but....
every second i spend with her is worth a million smiles.
and every smile is a memory.
so heres hoping nothing goes wrong.

I do that on a regular basis; It's a horrible thing because your heart gets broken so easily. I tend to find the best in people, causing myself to fall in love often and frequently =/

No, never... I never fall for someone so hard I lose myself in the process... It's not healthy . I control me, when I fall in love with someone, I still remember to love myself.

only once, in the relationship i'm currently in, but it seems she's as in love with me as i am with her, which is a pretty awesome experience, but not so great for making any decisions :)
