Socio economic groups - what determines if someone is in group - A, B, C1, C2, D or E?

Some believe that it is income and or wealth, however I disagree. Give a low group person a million dollars they will still be one except they will have money. Take away the money of an upper group person they will still be upper group except they will have no money.

It is a matter of socialisation and mental attitude, not wealth.
