Liberals are perennially enraged that Republicans are allowed to talk back. For years, this wasn't a problem, because, in Lenin's immortal words, they had seized the telegraph office. There were only three TV stations, three major newspapers, and a handful of national magazines, all run by liberals. But at least since Rush Limbaugh got a microphone, liberals haven't been able to make arguments in a vacuum.

I've never thought of myself as being 'thankful', but what you say is true. And that's what annoys them the most. How dare anyone question their views?

Contrast this with the actions of conservatives? I have yet to see a posted rant against any of the Air America hosts. Do we take issue with CBS? Sure. But has anyone even hinted at suggesting we try to take them off the air? No. To think or do such a thing would be absurd. And yet to liberals, such action would be seen as both justified and honorable.

Amazing, huh?

ask bill maher about sears and FedEx! see what bill maher has to say about it. .,.,.,Bill Maher - Hits the nail on its head! From "Real Time" (HBO) Mr. President, this job can't be fun for you any more. There's no more money to spend — you used up all of that. You can't start another war because you used up the army. And now, darn the luck, the rest of your term has become the Bush family nightmare: helping poor people. Listen to your Mom. The cupboard's bare, the credit cards maxed out. No one's speaking to you. Mission accomplished.

Now it's time to do what you've always done best: lose interest and walk away. Like you did with your military service and the oil company and the baseball team. It's time. Time to move on and try the next fantasy job. How about cowboy or space man? Now I know what you're saying: there's so many other things that you as President could involve yourself in. Please don't. I know, I know. There's a lot left to do. There's a war with Venezuela. Eliminating the sales tax on yachts. Turning the space program over to the church. And Social Security to Fannie Mae. Giving embryos the vote.

But, Sir, none of that is going to happen now. Why? Because you govern like Billy Joel drives. You've performed so poorly I'm surprised that you haven't given yourself a medal. You're a catastrophe that walks like a man. Herbert Hoover was a shitty president, but even he never conceded an entire city to rising water and snakes.

On your watch, we've lost almost all of our allies, the surplus, four airliners, two trade centers, a piece of the Pentagon and the City of New Orleans. Maybe you're just not lucky. I'm not saying you don't love this country. I'm just wondering how much worse it could be if you were on the other side. So, yes, God does speak to you. What he is saying is: "Take a hint."

I am very grateful for Rush and Fox. Before Limbaugh, I had no voice. Anyone who says that Rush is a racist or a liar or a propagandist apparently have not listened to his show. You need to listen for a while not just two minutes. This is a thought provoking show. You need to listen long enough to understand the point being made. Sometimes, he uses absurdity to expose absurdity.

He is a master of the technique of exposing the flaws in Liberal ideology. If it only angers you that is too bad. If it causes you to re-think your position, then good for you. If you are a Liberal, I strongly suggest you dedicate yourself to listening for a while. It does not serve you well to only listen to people who agree with you.

I understand the Liberal philosophy and I disagree with it. I see no need to call names nor do I think Liberals are stupid for their beliefs. I do think they are wrong and I gladly explain why they are wrong. I gladly engage any Liberal in debate over ideology.

Can liberals say the same? I have listened to Air America. It does not seem to, to me.

Rush Limbaugh is a pirrahah (sp) for the way he has influenced this country! His drugged-induced state of mind - reminds me of HITLER - has disgraced the way he has people flocking to him and getting people like GWBush stolen into the office of the Presidency - SHAME ON HIM!

I always laugh at libs that foam at the mouth over any voice not echoing the rhetoric that they continually spew. They are freedom of speech advocates for speech they agree with. They foam at the mouth while turning red in the face calling others hate mongers. you gotta laugh.

side note dancer, you should change your pic. it could be a draw back for being taken seriously. not trying to preach its just my 2 cents worth.

No, not a big fan of either
I am certainly not enraged by anyone making an intelligent argument, however, much of what rush says is hyperbole and inuendo, kind of like your rant.

Yes I am thankful for Rush , but also the very talented followers like Glenn Beck and Laura Ingram.
Without them, our sources of information would be so polluted that the struggle between communism and freedom might have been lost already. They are heroes
