food snobs are not so bad as people snobs. I think everyone has things they like most in life that does make them a snob but if they look down at some one for enjoying some food they do not like then that is wrong and makes them a snob. I am guilty of being a snob about rich people who can't help poor even though they earn their money from their hard work.

BEER SNOB - Life is to short to drink crappy beer.
FYI - Bud, Miller, etc. Those aren't actually beer. They are pretenders that falsely claim To be beer but actually sell filtered tap water, food coloring and grain alcohol as beer.
Then there is of course Cheese and meats to be snobby about too.
I am also a religion snob. I know it is all primitive beliefs meant to comfort primitive fears. I know I am right while billions are wrong. I guess by definition that would make me a snob as well. However, that doesn't make me wrong.

I'm a coffee snob. Starbucks is crap IMO. Their baseline is cheap. I grind my own every day.
I'm also a food snob in some cases, if it's grilled, smoked, or BBQ'd, it's gotta be better than I can do it at home. And I can do it pretty good at home. :)

Beer (although my taste varies depending on the occasion) and homemade food. I like to cook from scratch and think things taste better and are better for you when you invest the time. Plus, its fun. Which reminds me - I wanted to make some homemade chocolate chip cookies today mmmmmm, anybody want some?

LOTS.
I hate the cheap, starchy, scrap meat, ketchup covered dreck much of this country calls food (hot dogs, meatloaf, fried chicken, french fries....ugh). Give me fresh, piquant, unique, and healthy ingredients any day.
I hate most of what's on the radio. MTV brand Emo, nu-metal, weepy hot-topic chick goth, r&b, gangsta rap, mall punk, pop-country.....yuck yuck. Give me indie rock/folk, shoegazer, or good ol' new wave anyday.
Movies! Sorry, but if it has lots of explod-y things, Bruce Willis delivering catchy one liners, female "characters" serving only the purpose of being cinematic eye candy, or plot that's outweighed by CGI, good bye. That means you, Michael Bay. And Mel Gibson movies...ugh. Lots of slow motion and lengthy war speeches. Give me a break...
Spelling and grammar, too ;)
Yeah. I'm a snob.
